Position Overview
The Associate Production Technician at XingImaging, LLC, is a full-time, regular on-site role focused on manufacturing Fluorine-18 radiopharmaceuticals to the high standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for the clinical imaging technique of Positron Emission Tomography (PET).

MITRO Biotech Co., Ltd.’s acquisition of XingImaging, LLC in September 2023 brought with it an active expansion to offer early through late phase PET clinical imaging and clinical services to industry sponsors and researchers for advancement of new imaging tracers for evaluation of diagnostic indicators, disease progression, and therapeutic medicines.
Key Responsibilities:
- The employee will receive training in operating various radiochemical instruments (i.e. Neptis Synthesizer).
- Will have responsibility for aseptic production of radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes in accordance with established manufacturing batch records.
- Maintain accurate and complete lab data notebooks as per cGLP and/or cGMP, as appropriate.
- Adhere to all applicable procedures, cGLP, cGMPs, company policies and any other quality or regulatory requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment when handling radioactive materials.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiochemical equipment and instruments. Monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure performance and safety standards are met.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- B.S. or M.S. degree; major in chemistry or organic chemistry; previous work experience in a chemistry laboratory is a plus.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Must be willing to work with radioactive materials and follow strict safety guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Unique Department Requirements:
- This position works in an environment with radiopharmaceuticals.
- May need to lift up to 30 pounds.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is onsite. In the case of epidemic or other health crisis, employee must be willing to take reasonable steps to ensure that bacterial and viral infections are not spread to others including but not limited to temperature checks, vaccinations, exclusion from the office building, and other precautions as required by the organization and the building’s landlord.
