Job Description - Senior Corporate Transaction Lawyer (11001312D20240718)Job Number : 11001312D20240718Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate Strategic TransactionsNew York City, NY | Hartford, CT | Stamford, CT | USAIn your role, you will collaborate closely with AXA XL’s attorneys, corporate development team, alternative capital team, finance, treasury and investment functions to support AXA XL with a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, capital management and finance transactions, as well as assisting with general corporate legal matters including commercial contracts and corporate governance.We are looking for a lawyer with robust transactional experience, preferably M&A, with a demonstrated ability to achieve results. The candidate must demonstrate ingenuity, an outstanding work ethic, excellent commercial judgement and critical thinking in order to consider the wider implications as they relate to legal and regulatory aspects of transactions.You will report to Head of Legal, Corporate and Strategic Transactions and you will be based in one of our United States offices (preferably New York, Stamford, Hartford).What will your essential responsibilities include?
