Job Summary:
The Sales Executive is a full-time field position. This position is responsible for generating new clients within a defined territory. The SE’s primary objective includes achieving new dealer activations through cold-calling, referrals, and lead generation tools, contract closing, new originations, and developing and maintaining relationships within the automotive industry.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perpetual positive attitude and enthusiasm.
- New business development for assigned market by selling Axle Funding floorplan financing and services.
- Meets required dealer visits of a minimum of 20 per week.
- Log visit details in CRM within a timely manner.
- Follow up on leads.
- Attend local Auctions to increase presence and visibility of AXLE Funding.
- Achieve new dealer activation target each quarter, by facilitating the submission of new customer application to
credit/Underwriting Department.
- Build a performing book of originations each quarter.
- Maintain a good rapport with all clients encouraging repeat business and referrals.
- Build long-lasting, meaningful relationships with our customers, potential customers, employees, and contacts at all levels across the organization.
- Ensure all new clients understand their floorplan options, features and help them navigate their plans.
- Must be versed in the details of Axle Funding floorplans and associated fee structures.
- Participate in and support AXLE Funding campaigns and promotions.
- Tradeshows within market.
- Seek continued job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, attending seminars, and reading professional publications.
- Reports directly to the designated Account Manager regarding reviews, analyses, objectives, sales goals, and planned activities.
- Maintains strong relationships with Account Manager, branch staff and auction staff.
Educational Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Proven success in the sales field
- Previous experience in the car business or finance industry a plus
- Good communication and organizational skills required with strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service required.
