Position- Laser Cutting Operator
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM
Laser Operator Summary
The Laser Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a laser cutting machine to cut and engrave materials such as metals, plastics, and other materials. The Laser Operator must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and program the laser cutting machine accordingly. The Laser Operator is also responsible for performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the laser cutting machine. Additionally, the Laser Operator must be able to follow safety procedures and adhere to safety regulations.
Laser Operator Duties
- Prepare and operate laser cutting machines
- Ensure quality of finished parts
- Perform regular maintenance on laser machines
- Program and optimize laser cutting processes
- Select and adjust materials
- Check and inspect finished parts
Laser Operator Skills
- Ability to operate laser machinery
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of safety practices
Laser Operator Requirements
- Ability to safely operate laser equipment
- Computer literacy and familiarity with CNC
- Experience in the manufacturing environment
