Onsite Recruiter Job Description
We are seeking an Onsite Recruiter to join our team! You will be responsible for recruiting new hires and retaining existing hires.
Onsite Hours: (6 AM - Finish)
Pay: $20-$23/HR
Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
Schedule: must be flexible, including weekends and all operating hours as needed, based on client’s needs.
Responsibilities:
- On-site recruiter/admin to coordinate our temporary employees at a corporate client location.
- Assist with scheduling, facility tours, hiring process, and onboarding.
- Communicate with the leadership team to ensure our temporary employees are being placed in departments with staffing needs.
- Post job listings on social media and respond to potential candidates.
- Evaluate staffing strategies and plans to meet client needs.
- Act as the central contact for hiring managers and human resources to identify openings.
- Communicate closely with the Account Manager to provide an exceptional level of service.
- Utilize company software, social media platforms, technology, and other tools for successful recruiting.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews, as well as facility tours with candidates throughout the day.
- Adhere to all XL Pro Staffing policies when conducting interviews, screening applicants, administering drug tests, and completing background checks.
- Ensure federal compliance when verifying I-9s and assist applicants as needed.
- Collaborate with department managers to proactively identify future hiring needs.
- Use various sourcing methods, including social media networks, job fairs, and employee referrals.
- Build relationships with communities such as veteran groups, colleges, nonprofits, etc., to source top talent.
Duties:
- Work onsite at the customer’s facility.
- Manage temporary associates.
- Report daily attendance and correct time clock punches.
- Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees.
- Understand client’s processes and effectively recruit candidates.
- Onboard and introduce new employees to the client.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, attendance requirements, and safety programs.
- Provide management with requested reports and documents.
- Coordinate events focused on employee recognition.
- Accurately maintain employee files.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client departments and managers by walking the floor multiple times daily to assess staffing needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Flexible schedule availability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal fluency in English.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience as a recruiter; bilingual recruiter experience preferred.
- Experience with recruitment databases, sourcing tools, job sites, and LinkedIn promotion tactics.
- Solid ability to conduct various types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with selection processes such as phone interviews and reference checks.
