Overview: They will test, inspect, and document within the OPI Quality Program. Participate in training and development of self and others as part of the plant and regional succession planning program. Assume Quality Manager responsibilities as needed.
Pay: $23-$27/HR Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-4:30PM
Position Description:- Perform daily assurance activities for the facility inspecting and testing products and materials as required by the Quality Control Manual and third-party agency requirements. - Perform pre-pour inspections before molds are cleared to be cast. - Perform post-pour and product-acceptance inspections according to Program guidelines and standards. - Perform product inspections, per NPCA requirements.- Complete current compliance documentation and recordkeeping for the facility. - Perform daily testing of product and advise supervisor of any deviations to standard or specifics. - Ensure product labeling/stenciling conforms to OPI requirements. - Provide sales with process/product testing data per customer’s need when required. - Assist in monthly QC training meetings for process leads and process technicians.
Position Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent with 1 years of precast experience or related industry.- Or an associate’s degree in business, manufacturing, engineering technology, production, quality systems, or related fields. -Bachelor's degree preferred. - ACI field testing technician level 1 certification- ACI strength testing certification- ACI aggregate level 1 certification- Concrete cylinder compression testing- NPCA PQS level 1 certification testing- Written and oral communication skills- Basic mathematical ability- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
