Logistic Associate

Position Overview : Analyze and improve the supply chain's efficiency by meticulously examining historical shipping data, identifying patterns and bottlenecks that hinder timely deliveries, collaborating with transportation teams to evaluate route effectiveness, and proposing alternate routes or modes of transportation to reduce transit times and costs.Position Description : - Assist the senior logistic Coordinator in managing quality, costs, and efficiency in logistics, using data to support theories and the need for change. -Analyze large supply chain and logistics data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that could impact operational efficiency. -Evaluate transportation routes and modes to find the most efficient and cost-effective options, considering factors like distance, transit time, and fuel costs. -Identify inefficiencies in logistics processes and propose solutions to streamline operations, reduce delays, and enhance overall workflow. -Handle maintenance and repair vendor's procurement and work execution process from start to finish to ensure accuracy and thoroughness of work.-Book and coordinate with operation teams all import & export shipments.-Conduct cost-benefit analyses of different logistics strategies, helping the company make decisions that balance efficiency and budget constraints. -Evaluate the performance of partners and vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms, with a focus on [specific vendor management responsibilities]. -Follow up on policies for liability areas with suppliers regarding maintenance. -Analyze peak demand periods and plan logistics resources accordingly to ensure smooth operations during periods of high activity. -Serve as the point of contact for any center visitors, including corporate employee visits. -Ensure the correct creation of all documentation of U.S. Logistics policies and procedures, including [specific policies and procedures], to ensure efficient and accurate processing of all transactions.Position Requirements : - High school diploma-Must have one or more years of distribution or warehouse experience, with proven results of operation efficiency. -Must have good judgment & creativity -Conceptual development skills -Ability to read & extract pertinent data from analyses & relate to business trends & behavior (historical & future)-Multi-tasking & problem-solving skills-Strong verbal communication, written & verbal in English & Spanish
