Job Overview: As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing parts prior to assembly. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables
- Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls
- Produce parts by locating and marking reference points on workpieces with rules, compasses, templates, etc.
- Maintain specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts, adjusting controls, and replacing dies
- Resolve production problems by altering processes to meet specifications and notifying supervisors to obtain additional resources
- Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs
- Maintain stock inventory by checking stock to determine amounts available, anticipating needed stock, placing and expediting orders for stock, and verifying receipt of stock
- Maintain production by identifying space for staged components, delivering components to work centers, requisitioning and verifying additional components
- Complete production records by recording and delivering tubs and pallets of finished stock
- Document actions by completing production, quality, and time forms
- Maintain safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Ancillary Duties:
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve overall operations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of shop math
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and follow procedures
- Attention to quality and pride in workmanship
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at an organizational level

Physical Demands:
- Extended periods of standing
- Frequent crouching, kneeling, bending, and stooping
- Occasional ascending/descending stairs or ladders
- Occasional pushing or pulling
- Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime including Saturdays
