Building Maintenance Worker

How this job will fit your life:
- Hours – 1st shift
- Days – Monday through Friday
- Pay – $16hr to $18hr
What you can expect each day:
- General cleaning of the machine shop
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Document and perform minor repairs
- Perform miscellaneous work such as snow removal and changing filters, lightbulbs and ballasts
- Collect and dispose of trash
*The marginal functions of this position have not been included. Employee is required to perform any work-related duty assigned by management*
What the position requires:
- Ability to use hand tools including but not limited to hammers, drills, wrenches, saws etc.
- Basic math skills
- Completion of tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to operator heavy duty cleaning equipment such as buffers and pressure washers
- Knowledge of basic cleaning supplies
- Must be comfortable on ladders
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Janitorial experience preferred
- Prior building maintenance experience is a plus
Relatable skills to this position: janitorial, handyman, construction
