Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP HANA Development:
o Design and develop SAP HANA calculation views, attribute views, and
analytic views to meet business requirements.
o Create and optimize complex stored procedures and SQL scripts for
data transformation and processing.
o Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best
practices.
2. Retail Industry Expertise:
o Leverage retail domain knowledge to deliver solutions tailored to
industry-specific challenges and requirements.
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and
translate them into technical deliverables.
3. Agile Methodology:
o Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-
ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and prioritize user
stories and tasks in the backlog.
o Contribute to sprint commitments and ensure timely delivery of
features.
4. Collaboration with Remote Teams:
o Effectively communicate and collaborate with distributed teams across
different time zones.
o Leverage collaborative tools to maintain alignment on project
objectives and timelines.
5. Azure DevOps:
o Use Azure DevOps for task management, version control, and release
management.
o Maintain detailed documentation for user stories, acceptance criteria,
and sprint progress.
6. Release Management:
o Support release planning and execution, ensuring quality delivery to
production environments.
o Work closely with QA and deployment teams to validate solutions and
resolve issues.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
or a related field.
Experience:
o 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA development.
o Proven experience in the retail industry with an understanding of
business processes and data requirements.
o Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in building SAP HANA views (calculation, attribute, and
analytic).
o Expertise in SQL, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
o Familiarity with Azure DevOps for Agile workflows, including user
stories, tasks, and release management.
o Nice to Have: Basic knowledge of SAP ERP.
Soft Skills:
o Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with remote
teams.
o Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-
paced environment.
