What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Quality Assurance Analyst(SDET) position at Xlysi?
This position will act as an internal consultant to provide quality control and quality assurance expertise and services that support the goal of delivering high quality software to meet business needs in a timely manner. Duties include:
- Create technology based solutions by developing and implementing test automation to deliver quality products;
- Design and implement test automation framework to reduce the manual tests for Software Development Lifecycle;
- Create and write test automation scripts following standard automation principles for our software development lifecycle;
- Develop, implement, and ensure maintenance of IS&T’s quality assurance automation program;
- Establish and promote quality standards in the Software Development Lifecycle;
- Provide guidance, leadership, and subject matter expertise for application teams utilizing company testing processes; and
- Resolve and coordinate testing issues with IS&T development teams, vendors, and business users.
Education & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
- 8 years of professional, post-baccalaureate experience in software quality assurance testing. Stated experience must include:
- 6 years experience designing and implementing Software quality assurance standards and processes;
- 5 years experience in test automation development and implementation in web and/or mobile applications;
- 4 years experience with programming in Java, C#, and scripting languages;
- 3 years experience in Object Oriented design patterns and coding best practices, in Java/.Net programming; and,
- Experience in Geb, Spock, and Groovy is must.
- 2 years experience in each of the following: providing work direction and leading automation, and, managing test data for automation. Experience may be gained concurrently
