What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer, Navigation Systems position at Xona Space Systems?
Description
Xona is launching a network of navigation satellites to enable precision technologies like robotic farming and hands-free driving to globally scale. More and more industries are moving towards automation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. In order to operate safely these technologies need far higher precision and reliability than GPS can provide, and they need it to be accessible and affordable. Xona’s patented PULSAR network takes all the complexity needed to achieve robust centimeter-level accuracy and moves it to the satellites, unlocking trusted precision guidance for even consumer grade devices, anywhere on Earth.
As a Navigation Systems Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing robust software systems that power both satellite payload and ground segment navigation capabilities. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and precision of our navigation solutions while working directly with navigation software and algorithm engineers to implement state-of-the-art navigation techniques. You will architect software scaffolding that enables cutting-edge navigation algorithms to function at their peak performance, while maintaining system stability and extensibility across our space-based infrastructure.
Requirements
Range for base salary: $110,000 -$150,000
