- Position Overview The Zscaler Hands on Implementation Engineer will be responsible for the deployment, integration, and management of Zscaler's secure internet and web gateway solutions within our clients' IT environments.
- This role requires deep technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Zscaler solutions to meet clients' specific security and networking requirements.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing IT infrastructure to identify opportunities for implementing Zscaler solutions.
- Collaborate with clients' IT teams to ensure seamless integration and configuration of Zscaler products.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Zscaler deployments to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients during and after implementation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all deployment activities, configurations, and processes.
- Stay up to date with the latest Zscaler features, updates, and industry best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to enhance their understanding and utilization of Zscaler solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall project goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in networking and security, with at least 3 years focused on Zscaler solutions.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall technologies, and web security principles.
- Proven experience in configuring and managing Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
- Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions and concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP) or Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator (ZCCA) are highly MANDATORY.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other security products and technologies (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and configuration management.
- Understanding of Zero Trust security architecture and principles.
