About the Position
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Support Representative to join our team at XOS (X-ray Optical Systems). As the first line of contact for customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and resolution to issues related to our elemental analysis instrumentation.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers via email, phone, and MS Teams to provide technical support.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using available resources and due diligence.
- Collaborate with Technical Service or Field Service Engineers to ensure technical soundness.
- Document technical issues and resolutions effectively.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of hands-on electromechanical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or service environment.
- A sense of urgency and understanding of the impact of customer issues.
- Prior experience in instrument repair or support.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting aptitude.
- AS Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent preferred.
