Information Technology: XOtech, LLC. seeks an Information Technology Specialist to support the upcoming NIH DLS Warehouses.
Location: Bethesda, Maryland
Salary: Negotiable
Start date: Contingent upon award
Education: Requires a college degree and at least three (3) years’ of experience or a high school diploma and five (5) years’ experience.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
The Information Technology (IT) specialist will be responsible for determining if received IT property equipment is functional or non-functional and if all personal data/information has been removed in accordance with the NIH Sanitization Policy. The information Technology (IT) specialist will determine if excess computer equipment is able to be redeployed back to the ICs for reissue while still meeting current NIH IT security requirements. The information Technology (IT) specialist will determine if excess computer equipment is able to be placed with the Direct Donation area for Donees. The information Technology (IT) specialist will ensure that all hard drives that arrive to the PRDS as excess are wiped and or destroyed so no PPI or other forms of data can be obtained.
