What are the responsibilities and job description for the Terminal Manager position at Xpedited Services LLC?
Xpedited Services, LLC is a fast paced, high volume package sort facility and regional retail distribution provider. We are seeking a Terminal Manager with a high energy level and strong leadership skills to oversee all areas of the companies’ operation.
SKILLSETS:
· 5 years of experience in a fast paced package sort and retail delivery environment
· Comfortable learning and mastering multiple carton tracking software platforms
· Familiar with labor laws and safety compliance
· Experience in planning and dispatching 30 local and regional delivery routes.
· Strong communication skills with clients, employees and contractors.
· Good email etiquette with internal and external clients and coworkers.
· Must be flexible and able to adjust to challenges as they occur.
· Must be willing to work early morning/nights/weekends, as needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
· Reports directly to the Corporate General Manager
· Hiring/mentoring all Terminal personnel (Drivers, dock men, customer service)
· Understand and report daily P&L activity
· Service and cost KPI oversight
· Route optimization
· Effective dock schedule planning and execution
TERMINAL MANAGER COMPENSATION
· $90K-$110K
· 3 insurance plans to choose from with substantial employer contribution
· 2 weeks paid vacation and 6 PTO’s
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
