XPEL, Inc. (NASDAQ: XPEL), a leading supplier of automotive paint protection films, window films, ceramic coatings and commercial/residential flat glass film.
SUMMARY
The Print Production Specialist reports to the Sr. Operations Manager and is responsible for all aspects of the print production program. This individual will work with various printing equipment such as Roland printers to execute necessary internal and external printing needs.
This position will be based out of San Antonio.
DUTIES
· Ability to print banners, canvas art, vehicle wraps and other items using a Roland VG2-640 printer
· Use heat laminator machine to laminate vehicle wraps and apply necessary protective coatings
· Properly inspect and perform quality control on all print jobs to ensure all printed items match artwork and are of highest quality
· Maintain inventory of material used for printing as well as finished goods created
· Assemble and put together canvas prints ensuring all edges are properly lined up and artwork is centered to frame
· Work with internal team members to ensure printing needs get completed in a timely manner
· Implement new processes and write appropriate SOP’s in support of printing activities
· Execute the print production projects efficiently in accordance with business processes
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance program for printing equipment
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly area
REQUIREMENTS
· Understanding of how to run, operate and troubleshoot printing equipment
- Proficiency in color profiling, RIP software, and press file set up
· Experience setting up and operating various print equipment (cutters, routers, plotters)
· Working knowledge of design, digital artwork and file set up in Adobe Illustrator
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
· Ability to lift items / packages (up to 45 lbs. / 15 kg)
· Bilingual: English and Spanish is a plus
