Responsibilities:
- Full Stack Development: Lead the development of frontend features, ensuring a seamless and performant user experience. Contribute to backend development when needed, ensuring smooth integration with frontend components.
- Agile Collaboration: Collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to implement and refine UI/UX designs.
- API Integration: Develop and manage APIs that facilitate seamless communication between client-side applications and back-end services.
- Frontend Design & Architecture: Build, test, and maintain scalable frontend architecture using React.js and other modern frontend frameworks and best practices.
- Code Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of data platform through rigorous testing and validation.
- Technical Leadership: Promote and champion a robust engineering culture that emphasizes quality, innovation, and accountability. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior backend engineers.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to design decisions, architecture, and codebases.
Requirements
- 7 years of frontend and backend engineer experience using React.js, Python and Typescript.
- 5 years of experience in design and develop API driven backend systems. Experience with AWS Serverless technologies and GraphQL is a plus.
- Experience with relational and non-relational database technologies (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB) and data modeling.
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and data analysis methods.
- Passionate about building data products, ability to learn new domains and business models.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work on complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with the dynamics of early-stage startups.
- Skilled at adapting to shifting priorities and effectively planning projects in dynamic environments.
