Location: Bastendorff Beach, Coos Bay, Oregon

Job Summary:
Xplicit Technologies, LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual (or team) to perform daily restroom cleaning and garbage maintenance at Bastendorff Beach. The role involves cleaning two (2) double-vault toilet restroom buildings, emptying trash cans, and removing litter from four parking lots within the recreational area. This is an outdoor position requiring reliable transportation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Work Schedule:
Cleaning services must be completed within the time frame of 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM each designated day.
High Season (June 20, 2025 – September 8, 2025 & May 19, 2026 – June 19, 2026)
- 7 days per week (Sunday - Saturday)
- Total: 113 days
Mid-Season (September 9, 2025 – October 31, 2025 & March 1, 2026 – May 18, 2026)
- 5 days per week (Thursday - Monday)
- Total: 94 days
Low Season (November 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026)
- 2 days per week (Friday & Sunday)
- Total: 34 days
Important Notes:
- Work is required on holidays and weekends as per the schedule.
- The Contracting Officer Representative (COR) will conduct random inspections within one hour of service completion.
- Service logs must be completed after each cleaning.
Job Responsibilities:
Restroom Cleaning:
- Clean and disinfect all restroom surfaces, including toilets, grab bars, door handles (inside and outside), seats, and covers.
- Remove all bodily fluids (urine, feces, blood, vomit, mucus) as necessary.
- Sweep and wash restroom floors.
- Clean interior and exterior restroom walls weekly (more often if soiled).
- Remove cobwebs up to 10 feet inside and outside the restrooms during each visit.
- Restock toilet paper dispensers:
- Ensure 9” dispensers are at least 75% full at the end of each visit.
- Use 4” dispensers for auxiliary purposes.
Garbage Collection & Site Maintenance:
- Empty and replace liners in all garbage can stations.
- Remove all trash and litter within 15 feet of each restroom and across all four parking lots.
- Pick up and dispose of pet waste during each visit.
- Remove all garbage from the site and transport it to an appropriate disposal facility.
General Requirements:
- Complete the service log posted inside each restroom, including initials, date, and time of completion.
- Report incidents of vandalism, damage, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Maintain all work areas in a safe and sanitary condition.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
- Ensure work is completed between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM each scheduled day.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be reliable and punctual with own transportation.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically able to perform tasks including lifting garbage bags, scrubbing surfaces, and sweeping.
- Previous janitorial or maintenance experience preferred.
- Must adhere to strict cleaning standards and guidelines.
Equipment & Supplies:
Government-Provided:
- Access keys to restrooms and trash receptacles.
- Toilet paper for stocking.
Contractor-Provided:
- Cleaning supplies (disinfectant, toilet brushes, gloves, brooms, mops, trash bags, etc.).
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and masks.
- Trash removal transportation.
Estimated Labor Needs:
Based on the scope and frequency of work, the following labor estimate is provided:
- High Season (7 days/week): 1 full-time worker (6-7 hours/day) or 2 part-time workers (3-4 hours/day each)
- Mid-Season (5 days/week): 1 worker (5-6 hours/day)
- Low Season (2 days/week): 1 worker (5-6 hours/day)
A single worker could manage this contract alone if they are consistent and efficient. However, having two part-time workers alternating shifts could improve reliability and coverage.
