Overview:
Xplicit Technologies, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to assist with the cleaning and maintenance of two federal facilities for the Homochitto Ranger District of the National Forests in Mississippi. The Janitor will work under the direction of the Lead Janitor/Project Manager, performing routine janitorial duties to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and professional appearance of the buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks as scheduled and directed by the Lead Janitor.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and breakrooms.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; remove mats and replace them in proper orientation.
- Empty trash and recycle bins; clean and sanitize receptacles.
- Dust surfaces including desks, counters, furniture, windowsills, and equipment.
- Spot clean windows, mirrors, glass doors, and walls (under 7 ft).
- Clean interior and exterior of microwaves, coffee makers, and drinking fountains.
- Ensure restocking of restroom and kitchen supplies (toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels).
- Assist with reporting of any facility maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Lead Janitor.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in janitorial or custodial services preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (bending, lifting, standing, using equipment).
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be employed directly by Xplicit Technologies, LLC.
Compensation:
- Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Work Environment:
This position involves working independently and alongside the Lead Janitor after business hours. Work will occur in government office facilities and may occasionally include light seasonal tasks such as carpet or window cleaning.
