Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused ATV Tour Check-in and Payment Attendant to join our team. This individual will play a key role in providing excellent customer service to guests before they embark on their ATV adventure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with check-in procedures, processing payments, and ensuring guests have a smooth, enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Check-In: Greet and assist guests as they arrive for their scheduled ATV tour. Verify booking details and check-in all participants according to company protocols.
- Payment Processing: Handle cash and card transactions, process payments for tours, merchandise, and additional services. Issue receipts and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering any questions about the tour, equipment, and safety procedures. Address any guest concerns or direct them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
- Calls: Answer calls for existing bookings, assisting customers with confirmations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests. Handle new booking inquiries, providing information on tour options, pricing, availability, and the reservation process. Provide recommendations and upsell relevant tour packages when appropriate.
- Waiver and Document Collection: Ensure all guests have signed necessary waivers and completed all required forms before participating in the tour. Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Tour Preparation: Assist guests with gearing up for their ATV tour, including providing safety helmets, instructions, and ensuring they are equipped with proper gear, if needed.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the check-in area organized and well-maintained. Ensure all paperwork and payment records are properly filed and stored.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with tour guides and other staff to ensure smooth operations and timely departures for scheduled tours.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous customer service experience, especially in the tourism or hospitality industry, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of guests.
- Ability to handle cash and perform transactions accurately.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing circumstances.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain organized records.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on tour schedule.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (for handling equipment or merchandise).
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment, including exposure to weather elements.
