About the Job:
XPO Careers is a leading provider of transportation services seeking skilled Team Drivers to join our fleet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical 5-day work week away from home.
Maintaining safe and efficient routes, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and prioritizing cargo safety are essential aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical 5-day work week away from home.
- Navigate various routes and maintain CMV safety.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.).
- Safely climb in/out of tractor cab/trailer.
- Operate all internal freight transportation work tools and required systems.
