Job Description
This part-time professional driver position involves running loads between XPO facilities, navigating various routes, and operating tractor-trailer combinations over long distances. You'll work closely with fellow drivers and XPO employees to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Routinely run loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off.
- Safely navigate various routes, maintaining CMV safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances, following DOT guidelines and maintaining a clean driving record.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certifications and Licenses: Must possess a valid Class A CDL license and meet all necessary safety requirements.
- Physical Demands: Able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, climb in/out of tractor cabs, and safely maneuver heavy equipment.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers via radio or other communication devices.
Compensation and Benefits
