What you’ll need to succeed as a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis at XPO
Minimum qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
2 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting and forecasting experience
Experience with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills with the ability to create complex formulas
Preferred qualifications :
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
CPA, CMA, CFA or applicable professional designation
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to various user groups
Able to think critically and leverage available resources to troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies
Strong drive to seek continuous improvement in reports and processes during companywide growth and expansion

What you’ll do on a typical day :
Assist in the budgeting, planning and forecasting processes working closely with the BU finance teams and the Corporate finance teams. Prepare schedules and presentations for senior management
Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the consolidate forecast including KPIs, Revenue, Margin, EBITDA, operating expenses, Organic Revenue, Capex and Free Cash Flow
Generate, maintain and ensure accuracy of weekly and monthly financial review process; determine key drivers of over / underperformance and communicate variances to senior managment
Assist in Monthly Operating Reviews through the preparation of schedules and presentations for senior management that communicate operational and financial performance, issues requiring intervention, their status and suggested solutions
Complete ad hoc reporting to support senior management and business decisions
