We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Fitness Studio Operations Manager to lead our studio to success. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of studio functionality, from sales to operations.
About the Role
This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to drive sales growth, supervise staff, and maintain a clean and organized environment. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for implementing sales processes, managing staff schedules, supervising Sales Representatives, and hiring/Managing all instructors at the studio.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Lead generation through Grass Roots Marketing and networking
* Implementing sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes
* Membership and retail sales
* Managing staff schedule
* Supervising Sales Representatives
* Hiring/Managing all instructors at the studio
* Independently making decisions related to high-level customer service
* Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the studio
* Enforcing studio policies and procedures
* Scheduling and participating in networking/community events and studio promotions
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 2 years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
* Confident in generating personal sales and supervising Sales Reps
* Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail
* Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
* Must have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phone
* Must be solution-based and results-oriented, competitive spirit
* Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
* An affinity and passion for fitness
* Solid writing and grammar skills
* Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
* Professional, punctual, reliable and neat and organized
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
* Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
* Proficiency with computers and Studio software
* College Degree Preferred
