Position Summary
Xponential Fitness is the largest global franchisor of boutique health and wellness brands, including Club Pilates, Pure Barre, CycleBar, StretchLab, YogaSix, BFT, Rumble Boxing, and Lindora. As a key leader on the People Team, the Head of Total Rewards is responsible for the strategic design, execution, and continuous improvement of our compensation, benefits, payroll, wellness, and HR technology infrastructure. This role is mission-critical in helping Xponential Fitness scale effectively during our organizational transformation. The individual will ensure our Total Rewards programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business goals, and will help foster a data-driven, efficient approach to all related functions.
This role requires deep expertise in compensation strategy, equity administration (LTIP/RSUs, ESPP), benefits design, payroll management, wellness program development, HRIS governance, and experience leading RFP processes for vendor selection. The Head of Total Rewards will serve as a center of excellence for all related programs and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation:
- Own the overall compensation strategy, including our compensation philosophy, salary bands, job leveling framework, and total compensation structure.
- Oversee compensation program execution in partnership with the Sr. Compensation Analyst.
- Provide strategic oversight of equity programs, including Long-Term Incentive Plans (LTIP), RSU administration, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), in partnership with Legal, Finance, and Accounting.
- Partner with Finance on incentive plan design and governance (quarterly, annual, sales commissions).
- Ensure compliance with compensation-related regulations and reporting requirements.
Benefits:
- Lead the evaluation, design, and administration of a competitive and cost-effective benefits portfolio.
- Manage annual open enrollment, vendor relationships, and plan performance.
- Oversee compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and related regulations.
- Lead RFP processes for benefits, 401(k), and wellness program vendors to ensure best-in-class offerings and vendor accountability.
Payroll:
- Oversee accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processes.
- Collaborate with Finance and HR Business Partners to align payroll with compensation strategy.
- Drive payroll process optimization and system improvements.
Wellness:
- Build and lead a holistic wellness strategy reflective of our brand as a health and fitness company.
- Launch initiatives such as nutritious snacks, access to nutrition services, wellness challenges, and fitness engagement activities.
- Measure wellness program effectiveness and drive a culture of health and well-being.
HRIS & Data Integrity:
- Provide oversight of HR systems and data governance, ensuring accuracy, security, and system optimization.
- Lead RFP and implementation processes for HRIS solutions.
- Deliver HR dashboards and analytics to support talent and business decision-making.
- Partner with HRBPs to enforce data entry standards and improve data workflows.
Leadership & Accountability:
- Own the Total Rewards function—this is a leadership role, not a support role.
- Set standards, define processes, and drive accountability across Total Rewards disciplines.
- Partner cross-functionally with HRBPs, Legal, Finance, and executive leadership to ensure alignment between compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS, and wellness.
- Champion a data-driven and employee-centric approach to Total Rewards strategy.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $160,000

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 10 years of progressive HR experience with a focus in Total Rewards, including compensation, benefits, equity, payroll, wellness, and HR systems.
- 5 years in a leadership role managing Total Rewards or similar functions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization; public company experience strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in compensation strategy, including salary structures, job leveling, market benchmarking, and incentive program design.
- Strong understanding of equity programs, including RSUs, LTIPs, and ESPP administration.
- Proven experience leading RFP and vendor selection processes for benefits, retirement plans, and HRIS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems including system optimization and data governance.
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FLSA, ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and equity/payroll tax implications.
- Track record of launching wellness programs that improve employee engagement and well-being.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to partner cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience building compensation models and executive dashboards is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) strongly preferred.
