Overview
The National Accounts Manager role based in North GA will play a key role in working with current and future large customers across our network. This role will be the primary customer interface for a defined portfolio of business. The generation of revenue growth within the portfolio will come through relationship building and management, knowledge of XGS services, and strategic development of value-add solutions for assigned accounts.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify customer supply chain challenges and provide customer-centric solutions.
- Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of XGS’ solutions.
- Lead and prepare all customer presentations and pricing activity through the customer life cycle.
- Promote and leverage the XGS Value Proposition and Commercial Strategy to support profitable growth that meets or exceeds established sales goals.
- Communicate and coordinate with Operations and other XGS functional teams to properly support portfolio growth
- Develop and maintain an active pipeline of value initiatives that are mutually beneficial to customer and XGS to continuously grow business and generate sales.
- Effectively manage complex contract and rate negotiations.
- Attend conferences and professional association meetings to promote XGS solutions and brand.
- Prepare and give business reviews and sales strategy presentations to the Commercial Team and Senior Leadership as needed.
- Maintain activity in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Qualifications
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:
- Flooring industry experience is preferred
- Preference for LTL, TL, Warehouse, Contract Logistics, and/or Managed Transportation sales experience
- 5 – 7 years of strategic or national account sales experience
- Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external partners
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Experience in designing and executing on a vertical strategy within a supply chain environment
- Strong communication skills to articulate customer value being delivered during presentations
- Analytical knowledge of the US supply-chain
- Ability to travel 25 – 50% (local and national travel as required)

ENVIRONMENT
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in all areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, must be careful while performing onsite services.
