Who You Are:

As an armed security guard professional for XPressGuards, you will be responsible for using a combination of strong tactical security strategies to protect high-value goods and customer service skills.

• Must have the ability to adjust focus; self-motivation and ability to work independent of immediate supervision

• Must be able to clearly communicate in English (speak, read, and write)

What You'll Do:

• Guard and maintain the safety and security of the client's property and personnel
• Stay vigilant and ready at all times, ensuring the safety against potential threats, while also being attentive to prevent accidents that may lead to losses.
• Follow safety and security procedures, policies, and regulations to include the safety and unlawful carrying, handling, care, security, and use of firearms
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner
• Patrol an assigned area on foot or in a vehicle to observe for signs of danger or criminal activity
• Report suspicious activity or occurrences to supervisors or law enforcement officials
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Issue verbal warnings or making arrests when necessary for security violations or criminal activity
• Working environments and conditions may vary by client site
• The shift for this location is M-Th 3pm-11 pm, Fri & Sat 4pm -12am. Six 8 hour shifts. Home games are traditionally on Saturdays therefore the games nights schedule is 2pm-2am.

Requirements:

• Must possess an active Georgia Commission Level 3 Armed Security License (Blue Card)
• Must own firearm and duty belt
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Pass an extensive background check (criminal record, driving record, drug testing, etc.)
• Minimum High School Diploma / GED Equivalent
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to observe, walk, stand, sit, or drive for extended periods in various weather conditions; run, climb stairs, and carry fire extinguishers or other emergency equipment; help restrain or lift a person; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; frequently required to use hands, handle or feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception

Preferred Experience:

• Prior Military or Law Enforcement

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 48 per week
