Mail Carrier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mail Carrier to join our team. The Mail Carrier will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages to designated routes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Deliver mail and packages along assigned routes in a timely manner.
• Load and unload mail from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of items.
• Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information for packages.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including sorting mail and preparing items for delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery driver role is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and logistics is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading mail.
• A commitment to providing exceptional service while maintaining safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $3,000.00 per month
