General Foreman-Lawn Maintenance

Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated, mature, and responsible leader to head our maintenance crew. This leader will need to be self sufficient and be able to make decisions on the go. They will also be responsible for determining if a job is complete and to the customers satisfaction.

Duties

• Have a valid driver's license and drive a truck and trailer
• The foreman will be responsible for all aspects of each job
• Jobs will range from basic grass cutting, installing sod, installing plants, and creating fence
• The foreman will be expected to do all aspects of each job: weed-eating, picking up trash, hedging, driving, cutting, digging, carrying material
• The foreman will lead by example and treat workers and customers as they would want to be treated in return
• Evaluate stopping point throughout the day, determine best location for lunch breaks
• Most important: keep in contact with owner throughout the day on progress or problems.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or grounds keeping is required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Ability to build relationships with clients while delivering exceptional service.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear instructions and feedback within the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
