There are a few things you need to know :
Working from home you will be required to provide your own equipment, a webcam for training, have reliable internet, have a quiet place to work with no distractions, have regular check-ins with your coach, participate in virtual team-building events, and can wear yoga pants all day if you like.

Computer must be connected to internet gateway via Ethernet cable, in home wi-fi not allowed. Wi-Fi alternative recommendations available if distance is an issue.
Computer must have an updated Google Chrome browser
Headset can be 3.5mm or USB, as supported by their computer - most major brands are acceptable but microphone quality goes up with price

Here are the questions you probably want to ask us :
How much does it pay? Well, that depends on several factors including experience. But our pay scale is completely in line with other self-storage manager pay rates PLUS you won’t have to deal with rental trucks or sweeping units! And there are bonus opportunities!
What would my schedule be? We have a few different schedules. (Our in house agents are not required to work anytime after 6 : 30pm)
What does training look like? Well, training is PAID and usually takes five days. After being trained, you will be paired with a mentor who will always be available to help.
What skills are required? You have to understand self-storage. You need to be able to multi-task. You must be an active listener to identify the customer's needs. You must be helpful, friendly, and kind to each and every caller. You must be able to type at least 35 words per minute.

About the Role :
As a Certified Rental Agent your focus will be handling inbound calls where you are going to provide quotes, gather information, take payments and process move ins along with making outbound calls to follow up on missed opportunities.
Responsibilities :
The duties of the Certified Rental Agent include, but are not limited to, the following :
Requirements :
Self-storage experience required preferably as Store Manager or higher.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multi-task and possess active listening skills.
High School Diploma
Must be able to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently.
Have good Patience -Attentiveness - Clear Communication - Effective Listening, with each customer interaction.
Must be able to type a minimum of 35 WPM.
6 months in customer service role
5 years in customer service role
Experience working with a PC and able to maneuver multiple screens simultaneously.
Compensation / Payroll Schedule :
1st - 15th is paid on the last day of that month
16th - last day of the month is paid on the 15th of the following month
