In this role, you will support key HR functions, including daily operations, full life cycle recruiting, and maintaining critical HR documentation. You will also collaborate closely with employees and management to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, streamline HR processes, and contribute to XPT’s ongoing growth and success.
Responsibilities :
- Recruitment & Onboarding : Manage the full life cycle recruiting process and ensure smooth onboarding of new employees.
- Employee Handbook Maintenance : Regularly update and maintain the employee handbook while complying with evolving federal and state mandates.
- Policy & Procedure Management : Update and implement company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and legal requirements.
- Training Initiatives : Plan and coordinate employee training initiatives that comply with company policies.
- Payroll & Timecard Management : Assist with payroll processes by managing timecards while ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation.
- State Compliance : Respond to unemployment claims, new hire reporting, state-mandated leave, and tax filing matters.
- HR Reporting & Documentation : Prepare and analyze HR metrics, employee data, and compliance reports.
- Benefits Liaison : Support employees by assisting with enrollment, responding to inquiries, and managing change requests.
- Retirement Plan Coordination : Manage updates and changes related to the company’s retirement plan.
- Engagement Initiatives : Create and contribute content for internal newsletters while coordinating employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- HR Support : Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely resolutions and guidance.
