Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented
Firmware System Validation Engineer
with a strong background in embedded systems and Python development. The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting validation frameworks, implementing Python-based tests tailored for embedded system validation, and debugging complex issues. Preferred candidates will also have experience validating photonics devices.
Key Responsibilities
Validate embedded photonics devices by developing and executing comprehensive tests and frameworks in Python according to a documented test plan.
Develop Python-based test scripts for automated and manual testing of embedded system functionality and performance.
Debug and troubleshoot test issues to identify root causes, providing actionable recommendations for resolution.
Continuously improve validation processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and test coverage.
Qualifications
Required :
At least 5 years of experience as a System Validation Engineer, with expertise in embedded systems validation.
Expert-level Python development experience, including proficiency in writing efficient and maintainable scripts
Experience designing and architecting validation frameworks for system-level testing.
Experience implementing, in Python, documented test plans.
Experience validating optical devices or systems.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues in complex systems.
Preferred :
Familiarity with hardware debugging tools and techniques, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Knowledge of embedded system communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
