Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Lab Technician (Integrated Photonics) to join our team. This role focuses on precise optical alignment, testing, and quality inspection of integrated photonic components and modules. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset to support the efficient operation of our lab and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Optical Alignment : Perform active optical alignment of photonic dies with fiber-optic arrays and electrical probes to meet design specifications.
- Testing and Die Handling : Test dies on probe stations, including die handling, prober alignment, and data collection.
- Module Testing : Conduct optical and electrical testing of modules by mounting them on test fixtures, running tests, and performing manual data entry as needed.
- Quality Inspection : Execute incoming and outgoing quality inspections (IQC / OQC), including microscope inspection, photography, measurements, and database recording.
- Lab Management : Maintain inventory of parts and equipment, ensure lab organization, and perform data entry related to lab operations.
