Legal Manager

Responsibilities

· Negotiate, draft, and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights

· Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations

· Oversee the legal aspects of business operations and transactions

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance in business activities

· Provide accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, corporate finance, etc.)

· Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations

Qualifications

· Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership

· Over two years’ experience as attorney in corporate law and legal expertise

· Experience in biotech or pharmaceutical companies, particularly in drug discovery, solid-state chemistry, or automated synthesis systems is a plus

· In-house legal experience in a technology or R&D-driven organization is highly desired

· Familiarity with international legal matters and cross-border transactions

· Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills

· Detail-oriented and well-organized with great time management skills

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Problem-solving mindset and critical thinking abilities
