We are looking for a Personal Trainer to join our Xtend Fitness & Wellness team. We provide you the clients, take care of all of the marketing and billing, and all you have to do is focus on providing a world-class training experience.

We stick to scientifically-proven methods and ensure our services are fun, safe and specific to the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
This person must be goal-driven, able to perform the following job requirements and possess the following skills and credentials:
- Provide a professional and positive client experience
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with clients to help them meet their fitness goals
- Prescribe fitness programs for clients to follow in person and remotely
- Any and all administrative duties related to planning workouts, reporting hours, and scheduling training sessions with clients
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Currently certified through one of the nationally accredited industry associations (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, etc.)
- NASM CPT is preferred but not necessary to start. You must have your NASM CPT certification within 90 days.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certified at time of hire
- Minimum of 1 year personal training experience working with clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to perform necessary training movements and exercises
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to teach and motivate others
- Basic understanding of nutrition
- Ability to work with many different types of people in a workplace wellness setting
Physical Requirements:
- Requires long periods of standing or sitting
- Moderate use of computer, tablet, or smartphone software
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Some lifting may require additional assistance from another staff person. Employee expected to use discretionary judgment and ask for assistance from another employee if an item is perceived to be too heavy to lift without assistance
- Use of personal safety equipment required
- Occasional lifting, pulling, climbing, kneeling, and bending
