What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter (Must reside in NY, PA or OHIO) Remote position at Xtreme Care?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates. This role involves collaborating with department managers to understand their hiring needs and developing effective recruitment strategies across all New York Companies. The Recruiter will also be responsible for maintaining a positive candidate experience and promoting the company as an employer of choice.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, and networking events to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role. Arrange interviews for those candidates that
- Work closely with HR to understand job requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Ensure a positive experience for all candidates by providing timely feedback and clear communication throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and generate reports on recruitment metrics.
- Stay informed about employment laws and regulations to ensure all recruitment activities are compliant.
- Promote the company's culture and values to attract top talent and enhance the employer brand.
- Recruit for multiple openings at once
- Assisting with onboarding all new hires
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to carry, lift, push or pull at least 20lbs
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with ATS/HRIS systems
- At least 5 years of experience in mass recruiting
- At least 5 years' experience recruiting for multiple states
- Strong interviewing skills, excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making abilities.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated on trends
- Strong knowledge of employment laws (multi state)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Previous experience/knowledge in HR helpful
