POSITION SUMMARY:
The Translator is responsible for providing accurate and reliable interpretation services between English and Spanish. You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Interpret accurately and fluently between English and Spanish
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Adapt to various interpreting environments and situations.
- Provide timely and reliable interpretation services.
- Follow ethical guidelines and protocols for interpreters.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Fluency in English and Spanish language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and sensitivities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to carry, lift, push or pull at least 20lbs
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in translation or interpretation is preferred but not required.
