Job Title: Machine Operator - Weekend Shift

Position Summary: To operate various types of machine shop equipment, including but not limited to CNC mills and lathes, saws, sanders, drill press.
Regular Hours: Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:30pm (Work 36 hours and paid for 40!)
Pay Rate: $15.00 - 17.00 per hour depending on experience. *Weekend shift employees receive an additional .50cent shift differential*
"XPTO": In addition to company provided paid time off, starting day one employee can earn up to 60 hours of paid leave within in a one-year period.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Keep equipment fed with raw stock.
· Make adjustments to machine
· Load and replace tools
· Deburr cut pieces.
· General maintenance on machine and work area.
· Continuous 5S practice within department.
· Conforms to all plant policies and procedures.
· Obeys and enforces all safety rules.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
· Industrial background preferred.
· Basic machining experience preferred
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Ability to do basic math required.
· Excellent attendance history required.
· Blueprint reading required
Conditions and Equipment:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Work in a fast pace environment.
- Environment is inside an insulated building, heated in winter and can be above 90 degrees during the summer.
