Job Summary:
Xtreme is looking for an Experienced Flooring Sales Manager to join our growing team! The successful candidate is expected to display outstanding interpersonal skills and have knowledge of flooring product and installation. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Assist with inventory management and replenishment
- Proactively build and sustain relationships with targeted clients and contractors
- Perform at home calls for measures and meet with customers
- Conduct planning and budgeting of projects, define project scope for full responsibility of project
- Communicate with installers for scheduling and project needs
- Analyze sales, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs
- Create detailed quotes/ invoices for projects
- Assist in maintaining record of project installations schedule
- Insure all installed product arrival then prepare installs for delivery, create delivery checklist
- Assist as needed in loading or making deliveries
- Maintain order and cleanliness of showroom, displays, and bathrooms
Skills:
- Previous experience in retail flooring sales is required
- Knowledge of floor install preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Familiarity with local market trends and competition
- Ability to build rapport with customers and provide exceptional customer service
