Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Field Sales Representative/Driver for Auto Parts to join our team. This role involves driving a stocked company van to various auto shops, building strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs, and providing them with the necessary parts on-site. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a company-provided van to auto shops and other businesses within an assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with auto shop owners and staff.
• Proactively engage with customers to identify their needs and offer suitable auto parts from the stocked van.
• Create invoices for products sold on-site and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Collect payments, manage receipts, and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels within the van to ensure adequate stock.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle and work environment.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to company growth.
• Communicate customer feedback and market trends to management to improve offerings and service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (required).
• Fluent or conversational English to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues (Spanish, Chinese, and other languages are a plus).
• Dedicated to learning and looking for long-term employment.
• Proven sales or customer service experience, preferably in the auto parts industry or a related field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic proficiency in creating invoices and handling financial transactions.
• Ability to lift and move small boxes and auto parts as needed.
• Preferred knowledge of automotive parts and systems.

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
