What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Supervisor position at Xylem?

Core Responsibilities
- Interface directly with Customer throughout the construction phase of the project
- Assist Project Manager with evaluation and selection of sub-contractors
- Manage sub-contractors and drive schedule
- Coordinate work between subcontractors
- Ensure the work is constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications
- Update schedules as required during construction
- Prepare 3 week look ahead and ensure equipment and materials will be available
- Communicate daily with the Project Manager and prepare weekly project reports
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with local regulations
Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience in construction industry
- Strong communication skills and leadership qualities
- Forward thinking
- Ability to read and understand construction plans

- Long term duration on project sites
- Overtime and some weekend work required
- Travel and living expenses paid

Salary range:
$46,600.00 - $74,600.00
