THE ROLE: Xylem is seeking Intern candidates with a background in engineering, information science or management information systems to join our team. As a member of the team you would develop, test and implement new processes to help monitor operations and improve performance and reliability.
Xylem Summer Internships typically last 10-12 weeks and are an opportunity to get hands-on, professional experience while making a lasting contribution to Xylem as an organization. Our internship program is intended to create a pipeline of talented undergraduate students who are interested in a career in the water innovation technology industry. Interns are our primary talent pool for all full-time early career positions and rotational programs. The Summer Internship is a great opportunity to learn more about Xylem and see if a career in water technology is right for you.
This individual will support all of our sites in the Carolinas supporting a single large customer. The Engineering intern will work closely with our Field service engineer in identifying opportunities for digital initiatives and Enable 72 tools to increase efficiency or reduce cost throughout our systems. Will work closely with field operations identifying deficiencies or areas for improvement in data analysis, collection and retention. Will help to troubleshoot and remediate upset conditions as well as work as a part of a team or solo on developing improvements to existing systems, equipment, or procedures to minimize these upset conditions.
