The Role :

The Technical Accounting Manager will apply your deep expertise in a specific financial area to analyze, develop, and implement strategies that address complex financial challenges. Your role may focus on tax, investment, risk management, or another specialized field within finance. You will be responsible for staying current with industry trends and regulatory changes, providing guidance on specialized financial matters, and leading projects that require niche knowledge.

Responsibilities : Financial Analysis

Conduct in depth financial analysis of company's performance
Identify trends and patterns in financial data
Prepare reports and presentations to present findings to upper management
Make recommendations for improving financial performance

Budgeting and Forecasting

Assist in the preparation of annual budget

Monitor and track budget variances

Create financial forecasts for future periods

Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements

Financial Reporting

Prepare and analyze financial statements

Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles

Communicate financial results to stakeholders

Assist with external audits and regulatory reporting

Cash Management

Monitor cash flow and liquidity

Develop and implement cash management strategies

Forecast cash needs and coordinate with banking partners

Optimize cash flow and minimize risk through effective cash management practices

Financial Planning and Strategy

Participate in strategic planning initiatives

Conduct market research and financial analysis to support decision making

Develop financial models and projections

Make recommendations for long term financial planning and strategy

Tax Management

Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations

Prepare and submit tax returns and payments

Research and implement tax planning strategies

Stay up to date on changes in tax laws and regulations

Risk Management

Identify and assess financial risks

Develop and implement risk management strategies

Monitor and report on risk exposure

Collaborate with other departments to mitigate financial risks

Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders

Communicate financial information and analysis to stakeholders

Provide financial support and guidance to other departments

Handle inquiries and concerns from stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Training and Development

Train and mentor junior finance team members

Conduct trainings and workshops on financial analysis, budgeting, and other relevant topics

Stay updated on industry developments and best practices

Identify opportunities for professional development for self and team members.

Qualifications :

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

Strong ability to analyze financial data and provide specialized insights.

Familiarity with financial software and advanced tools relevant to the specialization.

Ability to convey complex financial concepts to non specialists.

Certifications like the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
