Xylem is looking for a Wastewater Technician to report to our locations in the Tampa area (Mulberry, Plant City, or Bartow) and service our water treatment equipment.
What your day will look like as a Wastewater Technician
The Wastewater Technician will be responsible for the on-site operation, service, and maintenance of our wastewater treatment equipment. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous experience working in an industrial environment is especially encouraged.
This position operates on a swing shift either 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM either Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday, or Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday, with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.

Position Requirements for Wastewater Technicians
- HS diploma or equivalent
- One year of work experience preferred
- 0-2 years technical experience preferred- industrial or commercial process water experience a plus
- Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
- Ability to work in a high customer facing position
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
