Xylem is looking for a Wastewater Technician to report to our Charleston, SC location and service our on-site equipment.
What your day will look like as a Wastewater Technician
The Wastewater Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but candidates possessing a South Carolina Grade A-Physical/Chemical or higher certificate are especially encouraged to apply.
This position operates on a 12 hour swing shift with overtime opportunities.

Position Requirements For Wastewater Technicians
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Grade A-Physical/Chemical or higher certificate.
- One year of work experience preferred
- 0-2 years technical experience preferred- industrial or commercial process water experience a plus
- Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
- Ability to work in a high customer facing position
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
