What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrument Interfacing Consultant position at Xylo Technologies?
The objective of this request is that the individual provide high quality and effective instrument interfacing services to ensure Mayo safely implements innovative, high-value, stable and secure IT solutions. The individual will work closely with the Mayo team to develop and implement and maintain comprehensive interfaces:
Interface Development:
- Understand requirements from requestor.
- Set up interface in Data Innovations Instrument Manager and/or SCC Soft.
- Work with customers to test interface and adjust as needed.
- Document interface changes in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and CMDB as appropriate.
Other Activities:
- May be asked to assist with maintaining servers for Instrument Manager and other systems.
- May be asked to collaborate on projects with other Mayo IT groups.
Skills Desired
- Experience with Data Innovations Instrument Manager.
- Experience with Lab Process/Medical Terminology.
- Experience with SCC Soft, particularly Soft Lab and Soft DMI.
- Experience with enterprise servers & networking.
- Experience with Agile software development techniques.
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Experience with ADO
- Ability to work with customers to manage ambiguity.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
