We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to restore them to their original or desired appearance. You will work with a variety of paints and finishes, using your expertise to deliver a flawless, professional result.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
• Mix and match paint colors according to specifications using both manual and computerized systems.
• Apply paint using spray guns, ensuring an even coat and smooth finish.
• Perform touch-ups, buffing, and polishing to achieve a flawless final product.
• Inspect all completed work for quality control, ensuring that it meets company standards.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and spray guns.
• Follow safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Monitor inventory levels of paints and supplies, informing management of any needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Auto Body Painter or in a related automotive painting role.
• Proficient in all aspects of automotive painting, including surface preparation, color matching, and application techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce a high-quality finish.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to paint application and equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Vocational training or certification in automotive painting is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour ( BASED ON EXPERIENCE)

Expected hours: 40 per week
