Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and maintain a variety of learning and development content, including training modules, video tutorials, job aids, eLearning courses, and documentation.
  • Develop clear, concise, and engaging written content for diverse learning formats that align with organizational goals and training needs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Video Editing & Production :
  • Produce and edit high-quality training videos, incorporating graphics, animations, and voiceovers where necessary.
  • Manage video production schedules and ensure timely delivery of final content.
  • Instructional Design & Delivery :
  • Apply instructional design principles to create learner-centric training materials that effectively communicate complex concepts.
  • Utilize multimedia tools and software to develop interactive and engaging content.
  • Review and revise existing content to ensure it is up-to-date and reflects current industry best practices.
  • Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to refine and improve training programs continuously.
  • Develop assessments and other evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :
  • Work closely with HR, Learning & Development, and leadership teams to align content with organizational needs and priorities.
  • Provide ongoing support to learners, assisting with troubleshooting and content clarification as necessary.
  • Additional duties as needed.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in content creation, instructional design, or a similar role within a corporate learning and development environment.
  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Final Cut Pro) and other multimedia production tools preferred.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, etc.)
  • Other Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging instructional content.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to review and revise content for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Experience in video and multimedia production, including editing, sound, and visual elements.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand content for various learner audiences.
  • Solid understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories, and adult learning methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Physical Demands

The employee may occasionally lift and / or move items over 15 pounds.
