Tuesday through Friday:
Morning shift: 7AM - 12PM (opening)
Afternoon shift: 12:30pm to 4:20pm (closing)
Saturday & Sunday:
Whole day shift: 8am - 3:20pm (opening & closing)
Description
We are currently seeking talented & passionate assistant barista/cashier who is willing to take challenges and grow rapidly with Y&H Buttery Bakery team. Individual who is committed to exceptional performance, detail oriented, with a willingness to go above and beyond.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Greet customers with welcoming smile & manner.
- Take customer order.
- Pack croissants in the bakery boxes & pastry bags.
- Ring up order on POS and take CC payment and cash handling.
- Prepare/fold bakery boxes.
- Restock coffee bar supplies.
- Clean coffee bar area & bakery display cases.
- Clean/sweep dining area & wipe table/chair.
- Clean door/window glasses.
- Assist barista with additional tasks if needed.
- Learn/make espresso drinks.
Qualifications:
- Great attitude.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fast-learner.
- Strong organizational skills and willing to learn.
- Able to multitask.
- Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts.
- Authorized to work in USA.
- High School diploma or higher.
- Food service experience is a plus.
Experience:
- 2-year experience as Barista making Espresso
- 1-year experience in customer service
Certification:
- Food Handler Certificate.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
